Four feature classes ran at Historic Bolivar Speedway Friday, July 20.
Steve Holt of Strafford won the Big 10 Late Model feature over second-place finisher Jeremy Wilcox of Tulsa, Oklahoma. In Modifieds, Joe Bunkers of Harrisonville won with Devon Russell of Springfield second.
In Super Stocks, Trevor Icenhower took the checkered flag, with David Jennings of Springfield second and Scott Lampe of Fair Grove third. In Chargers, Justin Gantt of Highlandville took the top spot, with Mollie Eads second and Ronnie Taylor of Springfield third.
Points standings tightening up
Holt leads the Pro Late Models standings after the July 20 races. Holt has 296 points, leading Tim Swearingin of Springfield (175) by 121 points. Kent Crane of Independence is third at 111 points. In Big 10 Late Models, Basil Minor of Aurora has the top spot with 223 points. Jimmy Fohn of Eldridge is a close second at 177 points, just 46 behind. Justin Blake of Lebanon and Big JC Newell of Camdenton are tied for third at 175 points.
In Modifieds, Devon Russell of Springfield leads the way with 463 points. Bunkers, the feature winner from this week, is second, just 58 points behind at 405 points. Ron Hartford of Raytown is third at 282 points.
In Street Stocks, Josh Hutton of Nixa leads a tight race at 356 points. Jennings is second just 13 points behind at 343. Scott Simmons of Pittsburg is third at 280 points. In Chargers, Taylor has the top spot with 412 points. Gantt is second at 352 points , 60 behind Taylor, and Eads is third in Modifieds with 232 points.
July 6 results
Two classes ran features on July 6 at Bolivar Speedway.
In Modifieds, Bunkers won the feature with Ron Hartford second and Russell third. At Super Stocks, Shawn Schmidt won the feature race, with Scott Simmons second, Scott Lampe third and running a Charger, Eads placing fourth.
Four classes will be featured Friday night, July 28, with Big 10 Late Models, Modifieds, Street Stock and Chargers. Gates open at 7 p.m. for the grandstands, with hot laps at 8 and feature races shortly after.
