City of Bolivar residents will soon have a chance to make their voices heard regarding potential water and sewer rate increases.

Following more discussion on the proposed increases during the Tuesday, Sept. 11, Board of Aldermen meeting, the city plans to host a public hearing next month.

According to Bolivar City Administrator Tracy Slagle, the hearing will likely be scheduled for the Tuesday, Oct. 9, Board of Aldermen work session. More information will be forthcoming.
