CIRCUIT COURT ACTIONS

The following actions were taken last week in Polk County Circuit Court. Dollar amounts listed are for fines only; court costs are in addition to the fine. Amended charges were amended by the prosecutor.

Cases heard by Associate Circuit Judge John C. Porter:

Streeter Lane Blair, Bolivar, born 1995; probation violation; probation and suspended imposition of sentence revoked; five years prison, suspended, five years supervised probation. Blair was originally placed on probation in 2015 for class C felony possession of controlled substance.

Bridgett A. Butcher, Bolivar, born 1979; probation violation; probation and suspended imposition of sentence revoked; seven years prison, suspended, five years supervised probation. Butcher was originally placed on probation in 2018 for class D felony possession of controlled substance.

Curtis Harland Carroll, Bolivar, born 1979; probation violation; probation revoked and sentenced to six years prison, with probation possible following successful completion of 120 days in institutional treatment center. Carroll was originally placed on probation in 2018 for class D felony possession of controlled substance.

Christina Michelle Douglas, Springfield, born 1977; probation violation; probation revoked and ordered to serve previously suspended five-year prison sentence. Douglas was originally placed on probation in 2018 for class D felony possession of controlled substance.

Eric Brandon Evans, Malden, born 1986; class D felony stealing - $750 or more; six years prison, suspended, five years supervised probation, $1,981 restitution, $300 law enforcement restitution fund and 15 days shock detention with credit for time served.

Logan Madson, Warsaw, born 1995; probation violation; probation revoked and ordered to serve previously suspended seven-year prison sentence with possibility of probation after successful completion of 120 days shock incarceration. Madson was originally placed on probation in 2017 for class C felony forgery.

Shaun Mathew McKenna, Fenton, born 1979; probation violation; probation revoked and ordered to serve previously suspended five-year prison sentence. McKenna was originally placed on probation in 2016 for class C felony possession of controlled substance.

Zachary Austin Meyer, Bolivar, born 1992; class D felony possession of controlled substance; suspended imposition of sentence, five years supervised probation, $300 LERF and $150 lab fee.

Patrick Lynn Murphey II, Bolivar, born 1995; probation violation; probation revoked and ordered to serve previously suspended five-year prison sentence. Murphey was originally placed on probation in 2016 for class C felony possession of controlled substance.

Casandra N. Murphy, Humansville, born 1995; probation violation; probation and suspended imposition of sentence revoked and sentenced to three years prison. Murphy was originally placed on probation in 2018 for class C felony second-degree domestic assault.

Jamie Lynn Shay, Nixa, born 1970; class D felony possession of controlled substance; six years prison, suspended, five years supervised probation, $300 LERF and $150 lab fee.

Matthew L. Brim, Hermitage, born 1981; class E felony non-support; suspended imposition of sentence, five years probation.

Scott Ray Miller, Bolivar, born 1992; class C felony passing bad check - $500 or more; seven years prison to be served concurrently with other sentences.

Bruce Alan Storment, Bolivar, born 1966; first-degree tampering with motor vehicle and unlawful possession of a firearm, both class C felonies; five years prison on each count, suspended, five years supervised probation, $300 LERF and 21 days shock detention with credit for time served.

Jamie Whitworth, 37, of Springfield was arrested on a warrant for operating a vehicle without a valid drivers license, violating parole, passing bad checks, shoplifting, stealing and child neglect.

 

Saturday, Feb. 2

A 46-year-old Morrisville man was arrested on a warrant for failure to register a vehicle.

Shyloh Kessler, 21, of Elkland was arrested on a warrant for driving while revoked/suspended and operating a vehicle without a valid license.

A 22-year-old Springfield man was arrested on suspicion of driving the wrong way, operating a vehicle without a valid license and driving while intoxicated.

Donald Fristsche, 61, of Lonejack was arrested on a warrant for domestic assault.

Phillip Applegate Jr., 25, of Morrisville was arrested on a warrant for stealing.

Kyle Green, 27, of Bolivar was arrested on a warrant for possession of controlled substance.

Elizabeth Miana-Cori, 30, of Morrisville was arrested on a warrant for having no insurance.

Dustin McVicker, 44, of Louisburg was arrested on a warrant for driving while intoxicated and domestic assault.

Heather Kilgore, 29, of Houston was arrested on a warrant for fraud, possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

A 34-year-old Bolivar man was arrested on suspicion of assault, resisting arrest and unlawful use of a weapon.

Deputies responded to the 3000 block of Rt. O for a noise disturbance.
