CIRCUIT COURT ACTIONS

The following actions were taken last week in Polk County Circuit Court. Dollar amounts listed are for fines only; court costs are in addition to the fine. Amended charges were amended by the prosecutor.

Cases heard by Associate Circuit Judge John C. Porter:

David Christian Burtrum, 31, Springfield; class D felony possession of controlled substance; five years in prison, suspended, five years supervised probation, $300 to county law enforcement restitution fund and $150 lab fees.

Ronald J. Hampton, Springfield; class C felony receiving stolen property; five years in prison, suspended, five years supervised probation, $300 to LERF and 60 hours community service.

William Robert Jeffryes III, 23, Bolivar; class C felony possession of controlled substance; suspended imposition of sentence, five years supervised probation, $300 to LERF and $150 in late fees.

CRIMINAL CHARGES

The following new felony charges have been filed in Polk County Circuit Court:

Victor Clavier Jr., 23, Bolivar; class B manufacture of controlled substance within 2,000 feet of school or university; held on $50,000 bond.

Frances Marie Crawford, 38, Bolivar; grand jury indictment; class D felony stealing; release on own recognizance after $5,000 bond was changed. Crawford is accused of stealing from Walmart between Jan. 16 and Feb. 22.

Gage Alan Dixon, 28, Ava; class D felony burglary - second degree and class E felony resisting stop by fleeing; held on $15,000 bond.

Carrie A. Hill, 22, Ava; class D felony burglary - second degree; held on $10,000 bond.

Darlene Dawn Huckabee, 37, Cassville; felony fugitive from out of state; extradition ordered. Huckabee is wanted for theft out of Stone County, Arkansas.

Charles D. King, 33, Hermitage; class E felony non-support; warrant issued with $500 bond. King is accused of not paying child support for two children in January and February, leaving an arrearage of $5,865.

Billy Derek Mincks, 38, Bolivar; class D felony non-support; warrant issued with $500 bond. Mincks is accused of failing to pay child support for two children between Jan. 1 and June 30, 2017.

Carl Jason Robertson, 41, Bolivar; class E felony non-support; warrant issued with $500 bond. Robertson is accused of failing to pay child support for one child between June 1 and Nov. 30, 2017, leaving an arrearage of $3,911.

Brian C. Smith, 38, Springfield; class B felony driving while intoxicated - habitual offender and E felony driving while revoked; warrant issued.

John David Taylor, 51, Springfield; class D felony non-support; warrant issued; $500 bond. Taylor is accused of failing to pay child support for one child between Jan. 1 and June 30, 2017, with an arrearage of $8,826.

CIVIL ACTIONS

The following civil suits have been disposed in Polk County Circuit Court with Associate Circuit Judge Elizabeth V. Rohrs (unless otherwise noted) presiding:

LVNV Funding LLC vs. Teresa M. Carsten, Morrisville; suit on account; default judgment against Carsten for $989 plus interest.

LVNV Funding LLC vs. Bethany Leann Climer, Bolivar; suit on account; consent judgment against Climer for $677 plus interest with stay of execution as long as monthly payments of $56 are made.

Holt Rental Management LLC vs. Paul J. Hudson, Bolivar, and John and Jane Doe; rent and possession; consent judgment against Hudson for $990 in past rent, $50 in late fees plus attorney’s fees and possession of premises at 334 E. Olive St., Bolivar.

CIVIL PETITIONS

The following civil cases have been filed in Polk County Circuit Court:

Americash Loans of Missouri LLC vs. Justin Jackman, Bolivar; breach of contract.

Lester E. Cox Medical Centers vs. Lorraine Ann Simmons, Bolivar; breach of contract.

Branden Moore, Monroe, Indiana, vs. Missouri Department of Revenue; refusal of breathalyzer test.

Western National Mutual Insurance vs. Hovey Homes LLC, Goodnight, and Matt and Angel Hovey, Dunnegan; registration of foreign judgment; other final disposition (Circuit Judge Michael O. Hendrickson presiding).

Synchrony Bank vs. Diana L. Payne, Humansville; breach of contract.

DISSOLUTIONS

The following couples have filed for dissolution of marriage in Polk County Circuit Court:

The following dissolution of marriage has been granted in Polk County Circuit Court:

• Shoplifting that occurred on Feb. 13, was reported in the 2400 block of South Springfield Avenue.

• Shoplifting that occurred on March 6 was reported in the 2400 block of South Springfield Avenue.

Thursday, March 22

• An assault was reported in the 1800 block of South Baron Drive.

• Trespassing and stealing was reported in the 300 block of North Albany Avenue.

Friday, March 23

• A runaway was reported near the 600 block of North Oakland Avenue.

• Peace disturbance was reported in the 400 block of South Springfield Avenue.

• Property damage was reported in the 1500 block of South Pike Avenue.

Saturday, March 24

• Driving while intoxicated was reported near Aldrich Road and South Boston Avenue.

• Domestic disturbance was reported in the 1800 block of South Baron Drive.

• A man from Indiana was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop on South Birum Avenue.

• Troy Osborn, 43, of Elkton was arrested on a warrant for a probation violation.

• Brian Smith, 38, of Louisburg was arrested on warrants for driving while intoxicated.

• Eugene Green, 26, of Bolivar was arrested on a warrant for assault.

• Theft was reported on Rt. W, Walnut Grove.

• Burglary was reported on South 62nd Road, Humansville.

Thursday, March 29

• A 39-year-old Polk man was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.

• A 34-year-old Polk woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.

• A 30-year-old Bolivar man was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.

• Manuel Ayala, 34, of Independence was arrested on a warrant for a seat belt violation.

• A 40-year-old man from Halfway was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.

• Domestic assault was reported on Mo. 64 near Louisburg.

• Domestic assault was reported on South 196th Road near Halfway.

• Property damage was reported on Rt. D, Bolivar.

Friday, March 30

• Keith McIntosh, 43, of Springfield was arrested on a warrant for failure to register as a sex offender.

• A 40-year-old Fair Play man was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.

• A 23-year-old Buffalo man was arrested on suspicion of a traffic violation.

• Johnnie Ray Jr., 26, of Buffalo was arrested on warrants for forgery, possession of controlled substance, resisting arrest and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

• David Bearden, 53, of Fair Grove was booked into jail on a court commit for driving while intoxicated.

• Theft was reported on East 480th Road, Bolivar.

Saturday, March 31

• A 44-year-old Humansville man was arrested on suspicion of a traffic violation.

• Whitney Lelei, 31, of Buffalo was arrested on a warrant for traffic violations.

• A 35-year-old Lincoln, Nebraska, man was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

• Victor Clavier, 22, of Bolivar was arrested on a warrant for manufacturing a controlled substance.

• Burglary was reported on East 358th Road, Humansville.

• Tampering with a vehicle was reported on South 47th Road, Humansville.
