A rare coaching change for the Bolivar High School girls basketball program has brought Ryan Madison to Bolivar.
The Bolivar boys basketball team held its second annual golf tournament to raise money for the team Monday, July 18, at Silo Ridge Country Club in Bolivar. The tourney grew to 19 teams this year, coach Robby Hoegh said in an email.
The two-day Sonic Freedom Shootout, hosted by Marion C. Early, returns to Bolivar Friday, June 15 and Saturday, June 16, with 80 teams making the trip to southwest Missouri.
