Pam Davis, CNA, at CMH Home Care Services, is the August 2022 recipient; Mercy Espino, CNA, at Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility, is the September 2022 recipient; and Lisa Wolf, CNA, at CMH Home Care Services, is the October 2022 recipient.

A successful, inaugural Play Fore Pink Golf Tournament netted $10,000 for the Citizens Memorial Healthcare Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center in Bolivar. Proceeds from the Oct. 10 tournament held at Silo Ridge Golf and Country Club in Bolivar, were presented to CMH recently. The tournament’s goals were to not only raise money to help cancer patients at the center but to also increase awareness of breast cancer.

The Polk County Genealogical Society will meet Thursday, Jan. 5. The program will be “Who Am I? The Man with Two Lives” presented by PCGS member Leta Gass. This is the story of David Dickson/E.R. Graham, Gass shared during the Living History Tour last October. Other presentations from the tour will be scheduled for future meetings.
