The Missouri Public Service Commission has modified the formal evidentiary hearing schedule in water and sewer rate cases filed by Confluence Rivers Utility Operating Company, Inc. (Confluence Rivers). Hearings, originally scheduled for August 7-11, 2023, are now scheduled to be held August 10-11, 2023 and August 15-17, 2023.

A decade-long partnership is coming to an end this summer as Community Outreach Ministries (COM) steps away from their role as the Service Extension Unit for The Salvation Army in Polk County. Effective October 1, COM will no longer oversee the annual bellringing campaign or be in charge of distributing The Salvation Army funds locally.
