MERGE is back! MERGE is Polk County KLIFE and FBC's spring retreat for high school and middle school students on March 28-30th. It's a weekend to take a step away from their normal daily distractions and stress and have a fun-filled, intentional weekend pursuing Jesus. We want to create space for our students to ask questions, dive deeper, and know that they aren’t alone in their walk with the Lord. This year we are focusing on the parable of the Prodigal Son!

I pledge allegiance to my God who had so much love for me, He gave His only begotten Son, to face Calvary. And to the church, for which He stands – One church, indivisible, with its strong bands, of love and kindness to sinners enthrall with Calvary’s purchased liberty and justice for all. And to this great nation that I am privileged to be, blessed as a citizen in this land of the free.

So, what will 2025 bring? I have no idea, but I do know God is in control. Galatians 5:22 and 23 shows us a way to get through it all. Choose love. Love God, love your family and your friends. For others, pray for them. No occasion justifies hatred. No injustice warrants bitterness.
