Mr. Carrol F. Johnson, 81, of Weaubleau passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.   

He was born Feb. 15, 1938, in Moline, Illinois, to Rolland Johnson and Carrie Shattuck Johnson.  

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. 

He worked and retired as heavy equipment engineering manager for the U.S. Forest Service.

Survivors include his wife, Corrine Bubier-Johnson of the home; two sons, Jeffrey Johnson of Marietta, Georgia, and James Johnson of Running Springs, California; one daughter, Suzanne Johnson of Colton, California; three stepsons, Jeffrey Bubier of Paulden, Arizona, Scott Bubier of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Bradley Bubier of Yucaipa, California; one brother, Rolland "Ron John" Johnson of Arcadia, California; one sister, Dorothe Baraks of Coal Valley, Illinois; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

 

A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, at Hathaway-Peterman Chapel with the Rev. James Johnson officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Galmey V.F.W. Post #9638 under the direction of Hathaway-Peterman Funeral Home, Wheatland.   

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be sent to Four Legs & Fur Society.
