Bolivar Mayor Chris Warwick and others rolled up their sleeves Wednesday, Jan. 20, to receive a COVID-19 vaccine shot at Polk County Health Center’s first vaccination clinic.

The drive-thru site, next to the center’s main building on West Broadway Street in Bolivar, provides the shots by appointment and in accordance with Missouri’s vaccination phases. Community members can put themselves on a waitlist, available at polkcountyhealthcenter.org or on the center’s social media accounts. Citizens Memorial Hospital has also set up a waitlist at bit.ly/CMHVAX2021.
