The 2018 Celebration of Freedom choir performs. The search is on for this year's participants.

Preparations are underway for the 39th annual Bolivar Rotary Club Celebration of Freedom program and fireworks on the campus of Southwest Baptist University Thursday, July 4.

The organization has sponsored the community event since 1980, according to a Rotary news release.

Area nonprofits are invited to participate as vendors for the event’s community picnic and those who take part will be able to keep all the money they make during the event.

A vendor registration letter is available below and will need to be returned by June 24.

The Rotary Club will send out a confirmation letter before the event with last minute instructions and a parking pass. Mark any address and contact person changes for your organization, as well. Vendors setup begins at 3 p.m. July 4 and will need to be completed by 5:30.

Vendors will be able to operate booths from 6 to 9 p.m. when fireworks start.
