NICHOLE HOSINER of Halfway was recently named to William Woods University’s spring 2018 dean’s list. In order to earn a slot on the list, a full-time student must earn at least a 3.6 semester and cumulative GPA.

MAKENNA CORNELISON of Pleasant Hope earned a spot on the Missouri State University-West Plains chancellor’s list for the 2019 spring semester. To qualify, students must have earned a 4.0 GPA for 12 or more credit hours taken during the semester.

ANNA WOLF, a biology major from Bolivar, was named to Central Methodist University’s Spring 2019 dean’s list. To earn a spot on the list, students must maintain a GPA of 3.5 or above for the semester, along with other requirements. Wolf studies on CMU’s main campus in Fayette.

ANDREW C. JENKINS of Polk recently graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Master of Arts in journalism.

In February, Jenkins successfully defended his master’s thesis — “Symbiotic or Destructive? An Analysis of the Metaphors About Journalism in American Films During the 1990s.”

Jenkins, a 2007 graduate of Hermitage High School, previously earned a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in 2011. He is employed at the Buffalo Reflex newspaper in Buffalo.
