The Tri-County Baptist Group will hold its regular Fifth Sunday Service on Sunday, March 31, at Rock Prairie Missionary Baptist Church in Polk County. more

The public is invited to attend the annual Polk County League Art Show on Saturday, March 23, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. hosted by Halfway High School. The show will feature artwork from nine area schools with works from middle school through high school level. The schools involved will be Dadeville, Fair Play, Halfway, Humansville, Hermitage, Macks Creek, Walnut Grove, Weaubleau, and Wheatland. Each school can enter up to 40 pieces in the various categories ranging from drawing, painting, sculpture, fibers, jewelry, graphics, pottery, and printmaking. First-place through fifth-place ribbons will be awarded to the winners in the 14 art categories at the three levels of Middle School, Art 1, and Advanced Art. more
