The Polk County Cattlemen’s Association held its 2019 scholarship auction on May 11.  The auction attracted over 170 people from Polk County and surrounding areas.

The auction is held every two years, and all of the money raised is given to Polk County Cattlemen’s members that are enrolled in a college or trade school through scholarships.

The Polk County Cattlemen would like to thank everyone that helped make this year’s auction a success. This includes everyone that donated items, and everyone that came out to bid on things at the auction.

We would like to express a special thank you to Rocking R Auction Barn (Alan and Lucas Roberts), for providing the wonderful location for the auction and for everything they did to keep the auction running smoothly.  We would also like to thank Bruce and Le’AN Auction for all of their help and support over the years.

This year’s auction was a huge success, raising over $14,000, and we were very fortunate to have the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association queen present at the auction.

Once again, we would like to thank everyone that supported this year’s auction.
