Lyle A. Segelberg, 78, of Bolivar passed away April 21, 2019. 

Lyle was born on June 15, 1940, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Ralph A. and Vivien C. Segelberg. 

He graduated from Tech High School in Omaha. 

He later became a pipefitter, steam fitter and worked construction in Iowa and Arizona before going to work at the Omaha VA Hospital, where he retired from the engineering department after 20-plus years.

Lyle took his basic training for the U.S. Army at Fort Leonard Wood.

He was a well-known clock collector and was especially fond of Ansonia Statue and China clocks. Lyle was a talented restorer and shared his talent with other clock lovers.

He is survived by his wife, Donna, of Bolivar, who he married May 31, 1980; brother Roy and wife Kathy; niece Tracie; nephew Scott; and several cousins.

A funeral will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at Pitts Chapel in Bolivar. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 6 to 7.
