I was walking along a gravel bar while fishing a creek when I saw it. The sun was shining on it like a beacon, guiding me to it. I knelt, picked it up, and held it gently in my hand. It was a Native American arrowhead.

Giving deer one less reason to congregate is a good way to limit the spread of Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD); a disease that can be spread by deer-to-deer contact. That’s the rationale behind the regulation prohibiting the feeding of deer that’s in effect in parts of Missouri.
