Bolivar’s Ashtynn Russell continued on a series of strong performances last week, medaling with a sixth place finish at the 16-team Bolivar golf tournament at Silo Ridge Monday, Sept. 16.
Bolivar golfer Aiden Asby can stake a claim few in the state share after qualifying for and competing — as a freshman — in the Class 3 state tournament Monday and Tuesday, May 13-14, at Columbia Country Club.

A golf tournament will be held Monday, Oct. 8, to benefit Gary Jackson, the 23-year old son of Linda Abel Perkins. Jackson has been diagnosed with grade level 4 Malignant Glioblastoma. His prognosis is 18 months to five years, according to a news release.
