Back to School

Students at Bolivar R-1 Schools attended the first classes of the 2022-2023 school year on
Tuesday, Aug. 23.

Bolivar Early Childhood, Primary, Intermediate, Middle, and High Schools were filled with
backpacks, books, and lunch bags as kids swarmed the halls, caught up with friends, and found
their classrooms.

Teachers, faculty, and volunteers were ready to help direct drivers through the drop-off lines
and guide students safely into the buildings.

A bittersweet display, parents and students alike had mixed emotions as they parted ways.
While some children were apprehensive and some parents wiped away tears as they said their
goodbyes, other students merrily swung open the doors of school to get a good start on the
day.

Whether students were dropped off at the front door or drove themselves to school, they were
able to took a good step forward amidst the buzz of back-to-school activities.

As the fall semester commences, students across all Bolivar School campuses can look forward
to another refreshing year of learning and fun.
