Car show for cancer patients


The staff of Central Care Cancer Center at the Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center will host the Let The Good Times Roll Car Show to help raise funds for local cancer patients.

The show will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center, 1501 N. Oakland Ave, Bolivar.

The annual Let the Good Times Roll Car Show is a fun, free to attend event for all ages. In 2021, over $15,000 was raised for local cancer patients of the Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center. The goal is to assist even more cancer patients in hopes to lessen their burden for a variety of circumstances including providing co-pays for treatment, gas vouchers, auto repairs, utility assistance and other additional circumstances of need.  

There will be plenty of food, entertainment and fun for the kids. Enjoy looking at race cars, rat rod, hot rods, street machines, trucks, motorcycles and more. 

Registration is from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., judging will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.. Trophy presentation for a variety of categories from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.
