On Friday night, Nov. 11, the Bolivar square came alive with Christmas all around. The Downtown Bolivar Association hosted the annual tree lighting ceremony and welcomed visitors to enjoy fun activities, including a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Along with the visit from Santa, there were Clydesdales to see, bell ringers from the Polk County Christian School, gingerbread houses to judge and other fun activities to enjoy.
