Concert headliners for Missouri Beef Days announced

Posted

The inaugural Missouri Beef Days event has announced the performers for its featured concert in May.

According to a news release, nationally rising country performer Casey Donahew will be the headliner, with locally-connected country duo Cross Atlantic as the opening act.

Starting Friday, April 15, tickets for the Missouri Beef Days concert at the historic Bolivar Speedway at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 21, will be available for purchase at missouribeefdays.com.

Along with the concert, the entire weeklong event in Bolivar from May 16-21, sponsored by Show Me Beef and NextGen Beef, will be a celebration of all things beef and will include a parade, MRCA rodeo, beef tours, special speaker Temple Grandin, Boots and Bling Banquet with Polk County Cattleman Hall of Fame induction ceremony, and more.

“Excitement is building for this whole event, but is increasing even more with this concert announcement,” said Missouri Beef Days board president Matt Henenberg in the release. “Casey attracts a huge following and generates a lot of excitement. Of course, Cross Atlantic is a husband-and-wife duo that are making a name for themselves in Nashville, but Karli is a hometown girl, and we are fortunate every time their schedule allows them to come back and play for us here.”
