Dooley Found Safe and Sound

Posted

Countless hours of searching and praying have finally paid off as the case of the missing 16-year-old Kaitlynn Dooley has finally come to a close.

On Friday, Dec. 16, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office announced the return of Dooley. According to Sheriff Danny Morrison, Dooley turned herself in to law enforcement, safe and unharmed.

Following many long days at work, Morrison is glad that Dooley is back in time to rejoin her family before the Christmas holiday.

“After 32 days, our prayers have been answered, and Kaittlynn Dooley has been located safe and sound,” Morrison states. “The Missouri State Highway Patrol, FBI and Polk County Sheriff’s Office conducted an extensive investigation over the past month that led to her return. I would like to thank the Polk County community for the help and support during this time.”

Dooley’s disappearance is not connected to other runaway or missing person investigations, Morrison added.
