Bolivar Elks Lodge 2828, located at 1990 W Broadway St., is hosting their first annual Family
Fun Day at 3 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20. This event is free and open to the public.
Kids can enjoy one last hurrah before the school year starts with food, games, water activities,
clowns, balloon animals, and face-painting.
Local organizations will join the fun, including the Shriners, Polk County Library, and Bolivar
Fire Department.
A movie showing of The Mitchells vs. the Machines will start at 5 p.m., and popcorn and drinks
will be available. Due to limited seating, movie tickets are given out at the Elks Lodge on a first
come first serve basis.
