Christmas is a time for giving, and with the upcoming holiday season approaching, organizations are seeking gift donations. This year, the community can donate stocking stuffers to the specialized care program at Good Samaritan Boys Ranch.
In previous years, GSBR has partnered with the Bolivar Herald-Free Press in order to announce the holiday wish lists of each ranch resident. Members of the community were able to choose a child to sponsor.
This year, however, GSBR is seeking donations of stocking stuffers instead of traditional presents.
Gifts for stocking stuffers include the following items: warm socks, winter hats, gloves, chapsticks, candy canes/other candy, and card game/fidget toys. Stockings are not needed, as they have already been provided.
Unwrapped stocking stuffers can be donated and brought to the BH-FP office at 335 S Springfield Ave., Bolivar. All gift items will be accepted until Friday, Dec. 16.
