The Halfway School District will screen and register upcoming kindergarten students Monday, April 25, at the elementary building. Kindergarten students must be 5 by July 31 and live in the school district.
The school will host a Pete the Cat Kindergarten Transition Day from 1-2 p.m. Friday, April 22, in the elementary library.
Teachers will provide kindergarten registration information, and future students will join in a school bus ride, tour of the school and fun activities to help children become acquainted with Halfway Elementary.
Preschool enrollment will be Friday, April 29, at the preschool building. Each appointment will last around an hour. Preschool students must be 4 by July 31 and also live in the district.
On registration day, please bring proof of residency, an immunization record, birth certificate and social security card, and any custody agreements, court orders or documentation if applicable.
All screenings are available by appointment only.
