In memory of Smith’s Restaurant owner...

The community is deeply saddened by the loss of local restaurant owner, Mark Smith, who
passed away on Saturday, Aug. 20.

After moving to Bolivar in 2004, Smith started and operated Smith’s Restaurant at the Bolivar
location with the help of his family.

As a graduate of Southwest Baptist University and a local entrepreneur, Smith was involved in
the Bolivar community for many years, working hard to provide excellent service for his

customers.

Smith also had ties with the nearby towns of El Dorado Springs, Weaubleau, and Collins, even
helping his family manage the Smith’s Restaurant in Collins.

His memory will live on in the hearts and minds of the Bolivar community.
