The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) is currently conducting an investigation regarding an officer-involved shooting.
According to Sergeant Mike McClure of the MSHP, the Division of Drug and Crime Control is investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred around 2:30 p..m. on Friday, April 21 about two miles west of Fair Play.
Polk County deputies responded to a call of an alleged suicidal male subject.
McClure asks for the public to be patient as the investigation is still in the process of being finalized. More information will be released as it becomes available.
