The Southwest Missouri Beef Conference and Trade Show will be held Thursday, Nov. 10 at McKenna Hall (Sacred Heart Church), 1405 West Fair Play Street, Bolivar. The Trade Show will begin at 4:30 p.m. followed by the first presentation at 5 p.m. Dinner will be served at approximately 6 p.m.
The theme of this year's meeting is “Capturing Opportunities Ahead.” Topics include: Rebuilding the Herd with the Right Building Blocks, Opportunities for Direct Marketing Freezer Beef to Consumers, and Reconfiguring Our Beef and Forage System to Maximize Profits. Senator Sandy Crawford will provide a Missouri Legislative Update. Veterans in attendance will be recognized for their service.
Cost for the event, which includes a brisket dinner, is $5 per person.
