Vehicle crash at Polk injures three

Three people from Bolivar were hurt in a single-car wreck at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31 near the town of Polk.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Pamela J. Hamilton-Quinn, 63, was southbound in a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban on Rt. D, about a half mile from Polk, when she traveled off the right side of the roadway, returned to the road, and then traveled off the left side of the road.

Hamilton-Quinn’s vehicle struck a ditch and a fence before overturning, the report said. She had moderate injuries.

She had two juvenile occupants, ages 11 and 16, who had minor injuries. All occupants were wearing seatbelts, and as the report states, they were all transported by ambulance to CMH in Bolivar.

The vehicle was totaled and towed by A&J Towing of Bolivar, per the report.
