Bolivar High School is proud to announce that Cole Gervais and Austin Lee have earned the top two academic honors in the Class of 2026. Gervais finished first in the class with a 4.32 weighted GPA. Lee finished second with a 4.28 weighted GPA. In recognition of their exceptional academic achievements, each will receive a $2,500 scholarship from the Bolivar Educational Advancement Foundation (BEAF).
Both students have demonstrated outstanding dedication to their studies, leadership among their peers, and a commitment to excellence throughout their high school careers. The scholarships presented by BEAF are intended to support their continued educational journeys and celebrate the hard work that has brought them to this point.
“Cole and Austin embody the academic dedication, character, and resilience that distinguish Bolivar students,” said Dr. Jason Blair, Bolivar High School Principal. “They have continually pushed themselves to excel and met every challenge, and we are tremendously proud of their achievements.” Gervais plans to study engineering at Missouri State University, and Lee is attending the University of Missouri-Kansas City for their PreMed five-year program.
The Bolivar Educational Advancement Foundation was created in 1991 for the purpose of funding programs and projects for the Bolivar R-1 Schools.
