Jim and Sue Davolt are thankful for the community and the many friends for always being willing to support the annual St. Jude Walk in the park. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and the cause is personal to the Davolt family after granddaughter Ellie Rocco was diagnosed with childhood leukemia nine years ago. Ellie spent several months at St. Jude fighting ALL, along with three and a half years of treatment, Ellie is now a senior in college and will be pursuing her masters degree as a child life specialist.

This group of friends walk to help raise funds and awareness for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through this annual event. It’s never too late to donate to help end childhood cancer forever. This year’s donations are approaching $5,000.
