30TH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT JUVENILE DIVISION OF MISSOURI IS NOW ACCEPTING RESUMES Full-Time Deputy Juvenile Officer/ Probation Officer. The 30th Judicial Circuit Juvenile Division will be accepting resumes and/ or applications for a Full-Time Deputy Juvenile Officer/ Probation Officer working 40 hours per week. Resumes/ applications will be accepted until the position is filled. This Position will be located within the jurisdictional boundaries of the 30th Judicial Circuit which is comprised of Webster, Dallas, Polk, and Hickory Counties, primarily based in the Webster County Juvenile Office in Marshfield, Missouri. This position involves entry level professional work in the enforcement and administration of the Missouri juvenile justice system. An employee in this position is vested with the statutory authority of a juvenile officer to take charge of children who come under the jurisdiction of the juvenile or family court. This position is expected to exercise supervision over juveniles under the court's jurisdiction. Employees in this class are expected to work with some degree of independence. Close supervision is received from and work is reviewed by a higher-level Juvenile Officer. Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to pass a criminal and child abuse and neglect background investigation. Minimum qualifications for this position include graduation from a 4 year college or university with a degree in Criminal Justice Administration, Criminology, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work or related field OR professional employment in a public or private agency involving substantial amount of time (over 50% time) in the delivery of protective services to families, adults, children or the aged may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education. Salary: $40,000 per year. (3% increase upon completion of 6 month probationary period).
