Separate sealed bids for Columbine Road and Fern Road Drainage Improvements will be received by OWN Inc. on behalf of the Christian County Commission at the office of OWN Inc., 3213 S. West Bypass, Springfield, Missouri 65807, until 11:00 a.m., Prevailing Local Time, August 29, 2024, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Any bid received after the time and date specified may not be considered.
The Information for Bidders, Bid Form, Contract, Plans, Specifications, and other contract documents may be examined at and copies may be obtained from the office of OWN, Inc. located at 3213 S. West Bypass, Springfield, MO 65807. Hard copies may be provided, for a fee for each set plus any applicable shipping costs or by appointment. Digital plans and contract documents may be obtained from OWN, Inc. by contacting them at 417-866-2741.
Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract.
Bidders are informed that all contractors are subject to full compliance with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules and regulations, and it is not the intent of the owner to arbitrarily dismiss any authorities.
Wage rates paid on construction work for this project shall be at least equal to the prevailing wage rates as specified in the project documents and determined by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations.
The Contractor and his subcontractors will be obligated not to discriminate in employment practices.
Proposals must be on the forms provided.
