Pleasant Hope Lady Pirates may have fell short to Marionville 59-41 at the game Friday, Jan. 27, but #2 Senior Kylie Tucker brought excitement to the crowd when she was fouled in the final seconds of the game. Tucker made both free throws putting her at 1,000 points in her basketball career. Tucker finished the night with 15 points.

Who doesn’t love their fur babies? Nevermind, don’t tell me. It is fortunate that most people do care for and about their 4-legged friends. I am hoping that care goes beyond their own little (or large) fur buddies and can extend to help some that haven’t had the chance to find their forever homes yet.

The meeting begins at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, in the community room at Citizens Memorial Hospital, 1500 N. Oakland, Bolivar. A free breakfast is provided.
