As with everything else, produce prices have gone through the roof. Just a few years ago, I could get grapes and apples for $1 - $1.50 per pound. Now, if I see those prices, I think I have hit the jackpot. No wonder slot machines use three cherries for a win.

Stockton, MO- “Summertime brings factors that lead to anaplasmosis in cattle operations,” says Patrick Davis MU Extension Livestock Field Specialist. Anaplasmosis can negatively impact cattle operation performance due to calf abortions, decreased weight gain, bull infertility and animal death. Davis will discuss anaplasmosis and management strategies to reduce its negative impact.

The Bolivar Rotary Club’s 44th annual Celebration of Freedom brought friends and family to the SBU campus, Thursday, July 4 to enjoy food, fun and entertainment, with the evening topped off with an outstanding fireworks display. The evening had been threatened by the forecast of storms, but other than a few sprinkles it was the perfect evening to come together and honor our veterans with a special ceremony.
