A 41-year-old woman from Aldrich died on the morning of Tuesday, July 19, in Lincoln County,
Oklahoma as a result of a deadly wreck.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Melissa Mitchell, the passenger of a semi truck,
was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two semi trucks and a Ford F-450 were involved in the collision at the Turner Turnpike near
Stroud, as reported by an Oklahoma news source.
One of the semi truck drivers was transported to OU Medical Center with minor injuries.
Officers closed the turnpike and diverted traffic at the nearby town of Chandler.
Per the news source, officers are investigating the cause of the crash.
