Country Days takes place this weekend on Saturday, Sept. 10, and many people in the
community can look forward to the food, activities, and entertainment at this annual festival on
the square.
The Downtown Bolivar Association encourages the community to register soon for Country
Days competitions, such as their car show, photography contest, cupcake contest, and enchanted
house contest.
Attendees can also anticipate entertainment by various artists and performers. The Downtown
Bolivar Association’s online schedule features the following entertainers and their respective
showtimes:
Springfield Avenue Stage
9:30 a.m.-10 a.m.: Tumbles Gymnastics
10:30 a.m.-11 a.m.: Pogo Fred
11:30 a.m.-12 p.m.: Center Stage Dance Academy
12:30 p.m.-1 p.m.: Pogo Fred
1:30 p.m.-2 p.m.: Cheers! Elite
2:30 p.m.-3 p.m.: Pogo Fred

10 a.m.-11:30 a.m.: Lyal Strickland
12 p.m.-1:30 p.m.: Brother Zehr
2 p.m.-3:30 p.m.: Sunset to Burns
As one of Bolivar’s most popular yearly events, Country Days gives local residents much to look
forward to. This year’s event will bring fun-filled activities for all ages and will celebrate the
traditions and togetherness of community.
Traffic will be re-routed on the day of the event, and drivers are reminded to watch out for
pedestrians and to adhere to the Downtown Bolivar Association road closures map.
