“Big Brothers Big Sisters helps children realize their potential and build their futures. We nurture children and strengthen communities,” is what Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) is all about. According to their website, they have been in operation since 1904 and are the “nation’s largest donor-and volunteer-supported mentoring network.” The concept is simple, take adults and match them with kids, aged 5 through young adult, and grow a meaningful relationship that will impact that child’s life. The goal is to help “littles” develop, mature, and expand their experiences to help them reach their full potential.
