Due to recent rainfall in the area, the Bolivar City Fire Department and the Polk County Commision lifted the citywide and county-wide burn bans on Monday, July 24.
Regular city ordinances now apply to burning within Bolivar city limits.
The Bolivar City Fire Department thanks everyone for working with them to keep citizens and property safe during the recent dry, hot weather.
