Fab-ZOO-lous Blood Drive

Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO) is encouraging the public to roll up their
sleeves for their Fab-ZOO-lous Community Blood Drive from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug.
26 in the community rooms at Citizens Memorial Hospital.

As a thank-you for giving blood, donors will receive two free admission tickets to the Dickerson
Park Zoo in Springfield, an entry into a drawing for a Zoo Safari family membership, and a free
t-shirt while supplies last.

Blood donors should prepare the day before and the morning of their donation by drinking plenty

of water or juice and eating a well-balanced meal.

CBCO requires all donors to show a photo ID upon donating.

While walk-ins are welcome to participate, the blood center encourages attendees to help them
manage wait times by making an appointment in advance.

appointment.
