Fair Play man hurt in wreck

A man from Fair Play was injured in a single-car crash on Mo. 32 at around 4:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 24.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Nicholas C. Colley, 20, was eastbound on Mo. 32, about one mile east of Fair Play, in a 2000 Ford Ranger when he ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned.

Colley, who the report said was wearing a seat belt, suffered moderate injuries.

He was taken to Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar via private vehicle, the report stated.

The vehicle was totaled and towed by Nelson’s Towing, per the report.

Master Sergeant S.W. Long investigated the wreck.
