A man from Bolivar was hurt in a recent single-car wreck at 10:51 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19 near Springfield.
A Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report stated that James McGinnis, 39, of Bolivar was northbound in a 1998 Honda Accord on Mo. 13, about 1.5 miles north of Springfield, when he ran off the roadway and struck several trees.
McGinnis, who the report said was wearing a seatbelt, had moderate injuries, and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
The Honda was totaled and towed by Henry’s Wrecker of Brookline, per the report.
