A man from Liberty was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Mo. 13 around 11:10 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5.
The MSHP crash report stated Dena R. Sims, 55, was northbound on Mo. 13, about one mile north of Humansville, in a 2012 Ford Fusion when he swerved to miss a deer, ran off the roadway, and overturned.
Sims, who the report says was not wearing a seatbelt, was seriously injured and flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
The vehicle was totaled and towed by B&B Wrecker of Bolivar, per the report.
Trooper L. H. Crowe investigated the wreck.
