Bolivar Elks Lodge will be hosting the Polk County Veterans Resource Fair and Recognition Day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 20.
As well as Elks Lodge 2828, other organizations present to assist Veterans will be American Legion, DAV (Disabled American Vets), Bolivar AmVets Veterans Home (Mt. Vernon), Veterans Administration (VSOs), CoxHealth Foundation (Wellness for Warriors), Catholic Charities of Springfield, Polk County Cares, Hope's Closet, Elks Deer Hide Program.
The menu will consist of BBQ Chicken quarters, potato salad, baked beans, and coleslaw, cost $9. Veterans eat free.
