Preparing for character - commitment - community

More than 165 youth entering kindergarten through eighth grade attended three nights of soccer camp last week hosted by BHS soccer coaches and players. Campers were divided by grade level ranges into three time slots with each section of campers receiving instruction, skill development, game play, and even a little time to cool off in the field sprinklers on the final night. Bringing back this longtime summer tradition for area soccer players, Coach Jason Ingold led his first youth camp as the new Liberator head coach with the help of assistant coaches Zach Waters and Zach Warwick, and up to 30 of his high school players from both the girls and boys programs. Many of these current Liberators grew up attending BHS youth soccer camp and showed up last week to help encourage, instruct, and connect with this generation of youth soccer campers. Ingold also acknowledged Sonic for providing coupons for all campers and drinks for the high school helpers.
