Drivers were extra cautious on Monday morning, Dec. 19 while the southbound lane of South Springfield Avenue was blocked by a trash truck.
“The crash involved a waste truck that was exiting the Bank of Missouri parking lot. The top of the truck caught the power lines,” said Bolivar City Fire Chief Brent Watkins.
The southbound lane remained closed for an amount of time, and around 9:23 a.m., Liberty Utility crews started working to replace a power pole due to the incident.
