The Pomme de Terre Chamber of Commerce in Hickory County is hosting their 2nd annual Light Up The Lake at the Pomme de Terre Damsite Park.
Located near the junction of Highways 64 and 254, Light Up The Lake 2022 features over 60 Christmas light displays by area Chamber of Commerce member businesses and will be viewable nightly from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. through January 1, 2023.
This is a free event, but drivers are welcome to donate to local non-profit organizations at the event. Nightly donations are split between the non-profit host and the Pomme de Terre Chamber of Commerce Fireworks Fund.
Last year, Light Up The Lake had over 2,000 cars visiting from as far away as Springfield, Kansas City, and St. Louis. This year, the Pomme de Terre Chamber of Commerce more than doubled the number of displays and added three times more lights. Santa will also make an appearance on December 13 and 20.
