When the 2024 Missouri high school girls tennis season ended last week, the Lady Liberators were among the few teams in the state still playing. Former Webster County Associate Judge Chuck Replogle was sworn in as the new Circuit Judge on Thursday, Oct. 31. A 1994 MHS graduate, Judge Replogle was elected Tuesday to a four year term as the Circuit Judge, as he ran unopposed. Governor Parson made the early appointment upon the retirement of Judge Michael Hendrickson to keep the court’s train running on time. more
Sign-up for Polk County Christian Social Ministries annual Share Your Christmas program began last Monday, Oct. 28. This is the 40th year for PCCSM to be in charge of this countywide event that gives low-income families an opportunity to make Christmas brighter for their family. Those wishing to sign up should fall within the federal poverty guidelines and be a resident of Polk County. Proof of income and residency are required. more
