They wanted consumers to know their salt would not clump but would flow freely, even on rainy days. The SBU women’s volleyball team completed a two-game weekend conference sweep at home for the first time in three years. This included beating Nationally recognized Rockhurst for the first time since 1987. The historic weekend was capped off with junior Ella Rademaker reaching 1,000 career kills, the first Bearcat to do so since 2010.

The National FFA Milk Quality and Products CDE is a competitive event that allows students to prove their knowledge about the recognition, selection, and management necessary for quality milk and dairy products. Participants must complete a written exam on milk production and marketing, evaluate milk samples for flavor and quality, identify cheeses and characteristics, and complete milk acceptability tests in the team activity.

Citizens Memorial Hospital broke ground on the CMH Dialysis Center Thursday, Nov. 7. More than 150 community members were present to celebrate the milestone. The ceremony included several speakers from CMH and the community, along with the ceremonial turning of dirt.
