Wednesday morning, Jan. 25, after the winter storm went through Polk County, the world was a real winter wonderland. According to the National Weather Service, the Bolivar area received 3” of snow. It was a heavy, wet snow that provided lots of fun for area kids sledding as well as the wildlife.

Saturday, Jan. 21, during the game against Stockon, MCE Lady Panther Taylor Blehm made her 1000th point in her high school basketball career. Taylor is a junior at Marion C. Early High School in Morrisville. The Lady Panthers went on to take 3rd place in the Stockton tournament.
